I introduce you: the villain of my story! I guess he is quite cliche, but I like him that way. ;)
This drawing was really hard, and I'm not satisfied. But at least it was good practice as I've tried out a bunch of new techniques. Hope you like it!

PS: Yes, I know his leg is all wrong. Apart from that, critique and ideas to improve it are always welcome! :D

I set a goal to draw at least one drawing each month this year. That sounds stupid, I know, as it are only twelve drawings, but since I'm so busy with my studies it'll be quite the challenge. I hope I'll make it. :giggle:

You really can tell that you put a lot of thought in that composition, good job on that!^^
I also like that you used some red highlights, but I think it wouldn't have hurt if you made them even stronger! A really strong reddish lightsource from the bottom would make the character look even more badass for sure.
But that's definitely a really amazing improvement so far! I'm quite impressed
If I can give you one more advice, I'd have a look at cubebrush youtube videos :) Especially the critiques are full of information, and especially in this one you can learn a lot about composition! (It's a little bit advanced though, and I definitely have to rewatch it once I learned more about composition, but I still think it's very informative!)

I also think it's a good goal to do at least one finished painting per month! I had this goal too, a few years ago, and I think it really helped me to make some progress :) I mean, it's really not that much, but you have to start somewhere, and sometimes it's better to take small steps^^
And once you made it a habit to finish at least one drawing per month, it will get a lot easier to make even more art than your minimum goal :)
I made it a habit to draw everyday now, even if it's just a couple of minutes, and now it even feels weird when I skip my practice.
